Happy Birthday, Zephyr!!

Our littlest-one, Zephyr, celebrated his 4th birthday recently. I'm pleased to say he enjoyed a fabulous celebration on his birthday, and on the following weekend when we had his Gran and his big brother, Derek, in for the day. I had literally ZERO time or expense for this birthday, but I managed to sneak quickly down to the charity shops one day when we were at our old residence cleaning it up. For about £15 total, I snagged a Superhero costume, a remote-control red racecar (still in box, never opened!), a Paint-Your-Own Spiderman sculpture never opened, a Chelsea Football shirt, and a football. He adores all of those gifts. His Gran got him some bright red Converse hightop shoes. (he desparately needed shoes). I even managed to whip up a bright red 'super hero' cape by rearranging and old silky red fancy tank style top I had into a cape (see photo!). I had some sparkly bright yellow fabric so just cut a big 'Z' out and sewed it on to the cape. He now LIVES in that cape! All in all, a special birthday despite crazy chaos :)
