Once upon a time an American lady living against the grain met an English single father just outside of New Orleans. They married quickly before having several clever children and embarking upon a life of autonomous learning and many adventures. This is their online journal from the mother's perspective.

New Years Resolutions
Christmas was LOVELY.
The children have been enjoying every magical moment whilst us big-people have been enjoying the champagne and creative cooking.
We had family stay for a few nights, which meant our children spent many moments running around playing with their cousins (whilst us big-people enjoyed even more champagne!)
As the New Year now approaches, it dawns on me that I've been REALLY lax in my blogging.
I certainly have not been lacking with indulging in fun creative projects with the kiddo's. Hopefully I find some time to post all the great snapshots I've taken over the past many months, but possibly I don't get around to it.
Because I also started on my New Years resolution many months ago
which is to spend less time on the computer and more time with my children.
I'll still find time to blog, and to interact with my friends and family on Facebook (as a majority of them live wayyyyy far away in the states), but that time now comes late at night after kiddo's are asleep. assuming I'm still awake (which is rare anymore!), because I'm also spending much more time with the children as they go to sleep.I always read bedtime stories, or tell made-up stories, but I wasn't really 'lingering' with the moment to also chat with the children about this and that.
We now chat about a lot :)
So, this blog may start to become more sparse, though hopefully I find a few insomniac nights to sneak over here and catch up ;)
Happy New Years everyone!
