Our New Playhouse!!!!

Look what hubby found in the skip next door!! An adorable playhouse with functioning windows and a mail slot. Cypress has been busy delivering mail ever since hubby and our teen brought it home. It's missing a roof, BUT, as you can see in one photo, without a roof the kiddo's can play 'Rescue!'. Cypress and Zephyr pretending the house was on fire, then climbing out over the top to get out. Indigo wasn't as interested, but only because she was in one of those 'leave me a lone for awhile' moods. Not sulking, just needing solo-time to enjoy her imaginary world. We had just returned from an exciting day at a local home educator event that meets up every week so kiddo's can play together. AND parents can try to chat. I hope to post photo's soon of the nifty science lab hubby has set up. We now have loads of beakers and test tubes and flasks and even an interesting looking distiller. Ohhh, and a super-power microscope. The photo's of spores and cotton and sand magnified up close that hubby has taken are incredible! It's alllll about Chemistry at our house these days (or at least, Learning about Chemistry). Well, if you ever hear me grumble about my husband, please remind me about this post. I think it's obvious he's an incredible Dad! (our kiddo's remind him often how much they love and appreciate him though ;-)
