Wild Chestnuts! |
Yummy Beechnuts |
The Fairy village started out as just a few houses after one of their BFF's spent the day with us yesterday. Since weather was warm enough, we took their BFF on a woodlands walk to gather 'supplies' (feathers, acorns, twigs, rocks, leaves) and then spent the day building Fairy Houses. I've reassured my children that the Fairies of Goring-by-Sea are thoroughly enjoying their little village at night. Here's a few photo's of the growing village (just in case you're a Fairy passing by and need a place to stay :)
I love the fence of bird feathers in the back |
in case you're wondering, the trail of acorns is leading to a Squirrel Trap that Indigo built (she's sort of moving on from Fairy Houses and on to Squirrel Traps) |
